Announcements

  • Sad Announcement - Sam Downs passed away on March 9th.  His funeral will take place on Saturday at the North Guilford Congregational Church.
  • The club received thank you letters from the Guilford Food Bank for our donations at Thanksgiving and Christmas and from Alex Rosa, student of the quarter.
  • The District Golf Tournament will take place on May 18th at the Harbor Lights Country Club.
  • John Murphy announced the receipt of an anonymous donation of $350.00 for Rotary International.  This will help the club to attain 100% participation.
  • Craig Yerkes announced that Charlie's Closet is in need of donations (wheel chairs, walkers, bath chairs, etc).
  • Bill Stableford announced that the Interact Club donated $250.00 to the Fuel Bank and $250.00 to Madison Cares (Habitat) and Walmart donated 200 pillows and blankets to IRIS.
  • The Interact Cry Baby Golf Tournament will take place on May 12th. Please consider a sponsorship of $100.  Foursomes play for $20.00 per golfer.  There will be three flights: 9:00, 10:45, and 12:30.
  • Lobsterfest will take place on June 23rd.  John Stax is hosting a meeting to finalize plans on Friday at 5 PM at his office.  All are welcome. Reserve seating is available now and we are in need of silent auction items.
  • Pat Todd attended PETS weekend and learned that there have been no cases of polio in India in fourteen months.  Stephanie Jacobs presentation was spectacular.
  • Rick Maynard has Frosty 5K shirts available for $6.00, sizes Medium, Large, and Extra Large.
